Nihon Inter Electronics - NIEC  Company Overview

NIEC was the first Japanese company to internationally market silicon-based rectifiers, and has been consistently contributing to the development of electronic devices as the pioneering company in power semiconductor devices.

NIEC products are used mainly in power devices and also in various other fields, including power, production facilities, transportation, automobiles, home appliances, communications, and computer terminals. NIEC is now developing intelligent modules by integrating circuit technology into new products that use IC application technologies, to develop more advanced, multifunctional products.

In August, 2016, NIEC was acquired by Kyocera Corporation.
