Comair Rotron Company Overview
Rotron Inc. was founded by J. Constant van Rijn in 1947 when he identified a need for small, highly reliable fans and blowers in the electronics industry. The Commercial Fan Division of Rotron became Comair Rotron in July 1986. The company relocated from New York to San Diego in 1990. Comair Rotron is a privately held firm, owned since 1995 by Howard Industries, Inc., a private investment firm based in Connecticut.
