Founded in 1951, Magnecraft is a provider of industrial relays and sockets. There have been many acquisitions which include the Electro-Seal Division of C.P. Clare in 1972, the Hart-Advance Relay Division of Oak Industries in 1974, the Omega Electric Company in 1977, the Relay Division of Sigma Instruments in 1986, the Commercial Relay Division of Struthers-Dunn in 1990, the Milspec Relay Division of Struthers-Dunn in 1995, the Solid State Relay Division of Grayhill, Inc. in 1999, and several Relay Product Lines from Tyco Electronics in 2000.
Finally, in 2004 Magnecraft was acquired by Schneider Electric and now operates as a subsidiary company within the Schneider Group.
