M-tron (-> MtronPTI) Company Overview
M-tron began in 1965 as a manufacturer of quartz crystals for commercial and two-way radios. M-tron also developed a line of QPL crystals for military applications early on and remains MIL-PRF-3098 qualified today. In 1993 M-tron became the first US-based manufacturer of crystals and oscillators to receive the ISO-9001 certification.
A merger in September, 2004 by M-tron Industries, Inc. and Piezo Technology, Inc. formed MtronPTI. MtronPTI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lynch Corporation.
