Artesyn Technologies is one of the leading suppliers of power conversion products, communications subsystems and services to the computing and communications industries. The company was formed in 1997 through the merger of Computer Products and Zytec - two of the worlds leading power supply companies. Artesyn's Power Group designs, manufactures and services power supplies and systems with one of the broadest ranges of power conversion products in the industry, offering both AC/DC and DC/DC products in the 1W to 6kW power range. The Power Group specializes in developing products for Distributed Power Architectures (DPAs), with a particular emphasis on high efficiency, high power density isolated DC/DC converters, Point of Load (POL) converters for high-end processors and DSPs, and leading-edge AC/DC front-end power supplies.
