ADC Telecom was founded in 1935 and is a world leader in providing global network infrastructure products and services that enable the profitable delivery of high-speed Internet, data, video, and voice services to consumers and businesses worldwide.

ADC supplies network equipment, software solutions, and integration services for broadband, multiservice networks that deliver data, video, and voice communications over telephone, cable television, Internet, broadcast, wireless, and enterprise networks.

ADC Telecom was acquired by Tyco Electronics in July, 2010.

In March, 2011, Tyco Electronics Ltd. changed its name to TE Connectivity Ltd.
