Alcor Micro  Company Overview

Established in December 1999, Alcor Micro Corp. is a Taiwan-based fabless IC design company that designs, develops, and markets highly integrated semiconductor chips and software solutions for the personal computer, peripheral and consumer electronics markets. Alcor Micro offers a family of highly integrated advanced peripheral semiconductor and software solutions. The company serves on several technical committees, including the USB Implementer's Forum (USB-IF), on which it has participated since its inception, IEEE 1394 TA, and the PC/Smart Card Workgroup. Alcor's active involvement with new technologies enables the company to provide innovative products that offer design and cost efficiency to OEM manufacturers worldwide.
