Galaxy Power was incorporated in February 1993 to develop state-of-the-art high density power conversion modules for licensed manufacture. In 1996 Galaxy Power began manufacturing custom non-isolated DC to DC converters. Today, Galaxy Power Inc. is the technology leader in high current, high density DC-DC converters, supplying products to the telecommunications, computer, and networking industries. Galaxy Power Corp was acquired by Bel Fuse Inc. in March, 2005. Bel Fuse Inc. produces high quality electronic components for the global market. Bel designs, manufactures and markets DC/DC converters, transformers, connector modules, fuses and delay lines. Bel products are widely specified for use in network applications (LAN/WAN), telecommunications, high-speed data transmission, automotive and consumer electronics, computer and power supply applications.
