Founded in 1994, Libit Signal Processing Ltd designs, develops, and manufactures silicon solutions for the broadband access market. Libit's products are fully compliant with the DOCSIS, DVB/DAVIC, IEEE802.14, and ATSC A.53 standards and are targeted to the cable modem, cable set-top box, and digital television OEM markets worldwide. Libit Signal Processing Ltd was acquired by Texas Instruments in December, 1999 and now forms the Cable Broadband Communications Group of Texas Instruments. Texas Instruments Incorporated provides innovative DSP and analog technologies to meet real world signal processing requirements. Texas Instruments is a leader in the real-time technologies that enable the wireless and broadband access markets as well as new emerging markets such as digital cameras and digital audio.
