Micro Electronics - MCEI  Company Overview

Micro Electronics Corporation's parent company, Micro Electronics (HK) Limited, was founded in 1964 by the Zau family as a semiconductor manufacturer specializing in silicon based transistors. Micro Electronics started assembly in TO-92 transistor packaging and gradually built its brand of products consisting of small signal transistors, medium power transistors, programmable uni-junction transistors and field effect transistors. The company diversified by adding a line of opto-electronics (light emitting diodes and liquid crystal display backlights), rectifiers and bridges, integrated circuits, and printed circuit boards.
