Nogatech - Zoran - CSR  Company Overview

Nogatech Inc. was a manufacturer of IC-compression chips for digital video applications.  

Nogatech was acquired by Zoran in August, 2000.

Zoran Corporation is a leading provider of digital solutions in the growing digital entertainment and digital imaging markets. In 1983, Zoran was established to develop and deliver DSP (digital signal processing) technologies. Today, Zoran's leading technologies combined with strong expertise in IC design, algorithm development and system integration allow Zoran to deliver complete solutions for OEMs producing innovative consumer electronics products.

In August, 2011, Zoran Corp. merged with UK-based CSR plc.
