Quake Technologies - Applied Micro  Company Overview

Quake Technologies is an international fabless semiconductor company with an established record of designing, developing and supplying physical layer (PHY) ICs for 10Gb/s and above applications for enterprise, data and storage networking markets. Quake Technologies designs and supplies high-performance 10Gb/s Integrated Circuits (IC) for the physical layer (PHY). Quake ICs are an integral part of the optical modules and system cards.

Quake has been shipping 10Gb/s Ethernet PHY chips since 2001. Our products are widely used in modules and on system cards in a variety of networking equipment within the corporate data centre, backbone, local and metropolitan area networks (LAN and MAN) and storage area networks (SAN). The products address Ethernet, Fibre Channel, IP storage and SONET/SDH applications.

Quake Technologies was acquired by Applied Micro Circuits Corp. in August, 2006.
