Richey Capacitor, Inc. has enjoyed a successful and distinguished history in the manufacturing and marketing of aluminum electrolytic capacitors since its incorporation in Nashville, Tennessee in 1965. The company's founder, R. Royce Richey, has been active in the electronics' industry since 1954 and was influential in developing the subminiature electrolytic capacitor market in the United States. A thorough knowledge of all facets of capacitor design and manufacturing, coupled with a high degree of technology in its manufacturing plants, has enabled Richey to remain one of the most successful overseas manufacturers of capacitors.
