TOKO  Company Overview

Toko Inc. was founded in 1955 as Toko Radio Coil Laboratory. Less than one year later, the company introduced the industry's first intermediate frequency transformer (IFT) coil, helping make the transistor radio possible. Toko's widespread electronics technology spans many fields of technical expertise, and has allowed a diversification into integrated circuits, magnetics, electro-ceramics, RF and power module design as well as video and medical systems.

As additional products were introduced, the company changed its name to Toko Inc. in 1964.
