Technitrol - Pulse Electronics  Company Overview

Technitrol is a manufacturer of electronic components, electrical contacts and assemblies and other precision-engineered parts and materials for the data networking, broadband/Internet access, telecommunications, military/aerospace, automotive and electrical equipment industries. Technitrol has two core business segments - Electronic Components and Electrical Contact Products - both focusing on the design, manufacture and marketing of critical components to original equipment manufacturers.

In 1995, Technitrol acquired Pulse Engineering, which it operated for 15 years as a separate business unit.

In November, 2010, Technitrol officially changed its name to Pulse Electronics Corporation.
