Vivid Semiconductor - National  Company Overview

Vivid Semiconductor, Inc. was founded in 1993 and is best known for its patented technique for fabricating high-voltage semiconductor devices using standard low-voltage digital CMOS processes.

Vivid Semiconductor, Inc. was acquired by National Semiconductor in July, 2000.

National Semiconductor, founded in 1959, started by making silicon mesa transistors for industrial and military uses.
