Winchester Electronics  Company Overview

Winchester Electronics, established in 1941, is a leader in the design, development, and manufacture of interconnect technology.

Winchester designs and manufactures a wide variety of electronic connector products including backplane connector systems, RF coaxial connectors, input/output (I/O) connectors and power connectors as well as value-added products such as cable assemblies, electro-mechanical assemblies and upper-level box builds. Winchester Electronics was acquired along with its parent company, Litton Industries, by Northrop Grumman Corporation in April, 2001 and was a business unit of Northrop's Component Technologies sector.

In June, 2006, the Audax Group acquired Winchester Electronics from the Litton Systems Inc. subsidiary of defense contractor and aeronautics equipment maker Northrop Grumman Corporation.
