Acapella - Semtech  Company Overview

The IC division of Acapella concentrates on the design and manufacture of Integrated Circuit for Fiber Optic Communications. Acapella offered highly integrated solutions designed to ease the transition from copper- to fibre-based communications and also provided consultancy services for a wide range of electronics companies.

Acapella was acquired by Semtech Corporation in May, 1998.

The company is dedicated to providing proprietary solutions and technology in power management, protection, advanced communications, human interface, test & measurement, and wireless and sensing integrated circuits (ICs) for use in communications, computer and computer-peripheral, automated test equipment, industrial and other commercial applications.
