NorComp, is a leader in the design and worldwide manufacture of I/O interconnect products, marketing a broad range of D-Sub, SCSI and Delta Ribbon connectors and backshells. However, the company focus is on providing comprehensive interconnect solutions to the challenges posed by emerging electronic platforms.

The company was founded in 1980 as Tex-Techs International, Inc. The name changed to Norwesco in 1985 as a result of an aquisition and was later renamed NorComp in 1992. In 1997, NorComp was acquired by EDAC (America) Ltd. and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. The company is privately held.
