T.sqware was acquired by Globespan in 2000.
Globespan is one of the world's largest suppliers of chip sets for ADSL, SDSL, and related DSL markets. It also sells network processors for local- and wide-area networks. In a DSL modem, Virata's host processors work in conjunction with DSL chip sets from Globespan. Merging in 2001 they became Globespan Virata Corporation.
In November, 2003, Globespan Virata was merged into Conexant Systems.
